I'm helping a parent or spouse figure out their Medicare

Bryan works with families all the time. Whether you're researching on someone's behalf or joining a call together, he's happy to walk everyone through it clearly.

💬

I have Medicare but I'm not sure what type of plan I have

Check your insurance card. If it shows a plan name like Humana, Aetna, or UnitedHealthcare, it's likely Medicare Advantage. If it just says Medicare, you're on Original Medicare. Still unsure — Bryan can sort it out in two minutes.

🤔

None of these quite fit my situation

That's fine — Medicare situations are rarely one-size-fits-all. A quick 15-minute call with Bryan is the fastest way to figure out exactly where you stand and what to do next.

Common Questions from People Who Aren't Sure

These come up in almost every first conversation Bryan has.

Do I have to sign up for Medicare at 65?

Not necessarily — if you're still working and covered by an employer health plan, you may be able to delay without penalty. But if you're not covered by a qualifying employer plan, yes — delaying Part B triggers a permanent penalty.

Is Medicare free?

Part A (hospital coverage) is premium-free for most people. Part B has a monthly premium, currently around $185. You'll also want supplemental coverage to handle copays and deductibles — those costs vary by plan.

Can I keep my current doctors?

It depends on which plan you choose. Original Medicare with a Medigap plan lets you see any Medicare-accepting provider nationwide. Medicare Advantage plans use networks — your doctors may or may not be in-network. Bryan checks this for you before recommending any plan.

What if I can't afford Medicare?

There are programs that help — Medicare Savings Programs and Extra Help can reduce or eliminate your premiums, deductibles, and drug costs based on your income. Bryan can check if you qualify for any of these at no cost to you.

How much does it cost to work with Bryan?

Nothing. Bryan is an independent broker paid by the insurance companies — not by you. His guidance is completely free, and because he's independent, he's not pushing any single company's plan. He shops the market to find what actually fits you.
