My path to Medicare isn't a typical one. I spent years as an aircraft mechanic at NASA — a job that demanded precision, honesty, and zero shortcuts. But what I noticed in the break room mattered just as much as anything on the flight line.
My coworkers were turning 65 and retiring with no idea what to do about Medicare. They were being sold plans they didn't understand by people who weren't interested in their situation — just their signature.
